What does "comp" a compliment mean?

In hospitality, to “comp” something means it’s on the house. At Complimenting Club™, you’re the one doing the comping — you treat someone else to a little love, sass, or sunshine, and they get the compliment for free.

Do I write the compliment or do you?

Either! Pick from our library of perfectly unhinged compliments by mood (BroJuice™, Hex Mail™, Country Compliments™, Corporate Condolences™, and more) or add your own personal note at checkout. 

Can I gift a subscription?

Yes! That’s the whole point — comp the compliment. You can send a monthly or annual subscription, gifting 30 (or 365) days of serotonin straight to someone’s inbox.

Can I leave my number or a message?

Yes (and we fully support the drama). For +$2 you can include your number and shoot your shot. Or you can include a longer message. We do not share personal information beyond the number or message you choose to include. 

If you’re nervous, take out a little rejection insurance by sending yourself a few sweet ones to wake up to, no matter what happens.

When will they get it?

Solo compliments are delivered ASAP! Monthly Club compliments are delivered at 6 a.m. EST the following day — because we believe everyone deserves to wake up to something nice. When you hit send, it’s queued up and ready to land in their inbox before coffee. That’s faster than you can say “per my last email.”

What if my compliment doesn't send?

First, check the email address on your receipt for typos. Then reach out to hello@complimentingclub.com. We’ll fix it faster than you can say “Mercury’s in retrograde.”
